I'm Aaryn — a retired educator, proud mom, and lifelong traveler based in Portland, Oregon. And I'm so glad you're here.

Travel has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My husband and I spend about three months a year exploring the world — wandering through cobblestone streets in Europe, sailing with Holland America through stunning coastlines, discovering the vibrant cultures of Southeast Asia, and uncovering hidden gems right here in the Pacific Northwest and across the United States. Adventure doesn't always require a passport. Sometimes it's just a few hours down the road.

I've been traveling with our girls since they were babies, which means I know a thing or two about planning trips that actually work for families — the logistics, the pace, the "we need a nap" moments, and the memories that make it all worth it. Whether you're traveling with little ones, teens, grandparents (my mom joins us sometimes too!), or just the two of you for a romantic escape, I plan with real life in mind.

Our sweet dog even joins us on local adventures — because sometimes the best trips are the ones closest to home. 🐾
